Jewel Colours, textured marble and brass lighting the Hyatt creates a glamourous sanctuary for the Guests.
The public areas for the new Hyatt House and Hyatt Regency in Stratford London were inspired by the luxury of the Golden Age of Railway travel just as Stratford is the a node of connectivity in East London. We created a rich palette of jewel coloured furnishings, fluted details, marble fixtures and brass lighting to offer a contemporary take on the glamour of travel in the 1920s. Arches are used to form entrances, connect common spaces and creating seating booths in both the bar and the restaurant. Guest Reception, Bar and Restaurant are all connected by a language of comfortable luxe; textured fabrics and rich hues. Guests are invited to sit an pause in the Bar for a cocktail at night or for morning tea before they venture into the chaotic melting pot that is East London.
